Developed and Operated by PGA Member Chris Knobloch, The Golf Experience (TGE) is a team of professional golf coaches providing junior and adult golf instruction.  TGE also owns Total Golf Adventures of Atlanta ( TGAA). TGAA is a part of the country’s largest on-campus, after school golf program for grades K – 5. 

Before developing the most attended junior program in Atlanta, Chris played college golf at West Georgia for 4 years and coached for 1 year.  While at college, he started his golf career at Sunset Hills CC and grew a junior program from 12 to 74 in 3 years.  Chris has moved from Carrollton to Peachtree City, Dunwoody CC, and to Reynolds Plantation where he served as Head Golf Professional for 5 years. Through the years, Chris has won  a GPGA Assistant Player of the Year, awarded by USKIDS Golf top 50 Junior Golf Instructor for 2008, and has currently been recognized by the Georgia PGA this year with the Growth of the Game Award.

Chris has developed an energetic and  simple philosophy to teach the game of golf.  He has trained his team to have that enthusiasm to every group class or individual lesson.  Chris and TGE brings this service to golf clubs that see the importance of quality golf instruction.

Although Chris’s passion is coaching kids as young as 3 years old, he has become one of the area’s leading authority on Putting. He is currently conducting group Putting Clinic using the SEEMore Putting System and their quality putters ( The putter that was used to win the 1999 US Open and the 2007 Masters ) Chris Putting Instruction Classes include analysis from 2 leading analysis software – The TOMI & iClub.  Hitting a few putts using these programs quickly gives the student and instructor immediate feedback, and has seen instant improvement from his students. This also leads to a solid short game instruction which is the quickest way to lower scores.

Golf Swing Fundamentals and Club Fitting are also a very important aspect of The Golf Experience’s basics.  Starting in the correct position allows the golfer to swing the club properly and having the correct equipment ( especially shaft flex ) lets the club help the golfer.  Chris has chosen Mizuno and USKids Golf as his club fitting equipment.  Both located in Norcross, Mizuno builds the best golf clubs for adult size men and women  of all handicaps and USKids golf makes the correct size and weight junior golf clubs so the child can swing the club, not let the club swing the child.

TGE's schedules after school programs at the golf course during the Spring and Fall as well as Summer Camps each week of the summer except for the 4th of July week.TGE has introduce a new Tournament Junior Golf Academy for boys and girls who play competition and have aspirations to play college golf and beyond.  Individual lessons are scheduled by appointment and can be booked by calling Chris @ 770-402-8749.
